January is supposed to be quiet in the garden, but not in mine! Against all odds, my radish seeds sprouted beautifully in their special U-shaped tray. Those bright green leaves were the perfect winter mood-booster.
Fast forward to February 7th—transplant day! I carefully moved the radish seedlings into my DIY cold frame (yes, I built it myself, complete with a protective glass top).
But the cold frame still had space, so in went more hopefuls: parsley, spinach, mangold, and lettuce seedlings. It’s like a mini greenhouse party under glass, defying the winter chill!
